Cookie and Browser Storage Policy

2. What we use and what for

Session cookie: identifies your authenticated session and lets the platform recognise you while you browse. It is strictly necessary. It is deleted when you log out or when it expires through inactivity.

Protection against forged requests: a technical identifier that prevents another site from acting on your behalf. Strictly necessary. It lasts as long as the session.

Language preference: stored in the browser's local storage to display the interface in the chosen language. It is kept until you change it or clear the browser storage.

Form recovery: drafts of forms you have started filling in are stored temporarily in the browser's local storage so that you do not lose what you have typed. They are deleted after seven days of inactivity. This local recovery does not replace data saved on the server.

Technical application state: small interface indicators (for example, open panels or notices already read) stored in local storage. They do not identify people outside your account.

3. What we do not use

Finomo does not use advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies, and does not embed third-party cookies for those third parties' own purposes.

There is no active usage analytics. If it were introduced in the future, your prior consent would be requested with equally visible accept and reject options, and refusing would not prevent you from using the service.

4. Payment provider

On the payment page, components from Stripe Payments Europe, Limited (Ireland) may set cookies necessary to complete the payment and prevent fraud. These cookies are managed by Stripe under its own cookie and privacy policy; Finomo does not use them for other purposes.

5. How to manage them

You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings. Doing so will log you out and you will lose any form drafts not saved on the server; documents and data already saved in Finomo are not affected.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies prevents logging in and using the platform.

6. Changes

Each version of this policy is identified by its edition and date. If elements requiring consent were added, you would be informed and asked before they are activated.
